Faith in God

Faith in God and the grace of God results in salvation. Faith in God is faith in God. Faith in God is not faith in a preacher. Faith in God is not faith in a religion. Faith in God is faith in God and all that God is, all that God does, all that God loves and all the God hates.

When I got out of the cult, and a while later, came to believe in God, then I learned that salvation comes from faith in God.

I went to a church for a while (Good Shepherd Community Church), but after talking with the church administrator, I realized that man didn't believe in operating on faith in God, but on decisions by other men. So I quit attending the church, wanting to live by God's word.

I have had my ups and downs which happen in life, and I believe there are situations that you can get into when you don't have regular fellowship, but one thing I knew, I didn't want to get pulled into a religion and compromise my beliefs to maintain shallow friendships.

Long story short, I don't believe that salvation comes from believing in a religion. I don't think that salvation comes from having friends who call themselves Christians and go to a place to worship. I believe, as the Bible says, that salvation comes from faith in God and by the grace of God.

I have much more to write about this, and I will write more, but I'm too tired right now.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. - Jesus Christ speaking to Saul, see Act 26:18, see Salvation through Jesus Christ.
