Believers Should Not Yoke with Cult Members or Unbeleivers

There are many reasons why believers should not be yoked to people in cults or unbelievers.

Jonah 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

Some Christians take for granted their upbringing. They have learned the will of the Lord and have received it sometimes as tradition and do not understand its value. When they begin to listen to the doubts of the devil and observe lying vanities, they may disobey the LORD and pursue their own way. Obeying the LORD brings blessing and it is not in vain that I worship the LORD. He is a rewarder to me and a great source of blessing, assurance. He is full of mercy, gracious and slow to anger. I love the LORD for many reasons.

2 Kings 17:15 And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.

If you are reading this web page, it is because God loves you. God is gracious and doesn't want you to go through much pain. He is merciful and would rather forgive than afflict or punish you for wrong doing. Turn to the LORD while it is called today and do not harden your heart.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

If you don't believe in being yoked (married, dating) a person in a cult, they why date them? Does God teach for women to date men in cults to try to "bring them the gospel"? Does God teach for young men to date women in cults to try to "bring them the gospel"? People know what goes on between 2 people that are dating outside the will of their parents, and God sees everything.

Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

2x2 beliefs oppose teachings of Scripture. 2x2s don't believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ by the grace of God. Their beliefes strongly oppose the commandments of God. They deceive in order to recruit members. These teachings and practices of theirs is against the beliefs of a true child of God. That is why their marriages don't work as the LORD God intended.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. - Jesus Christ speaking to Saul, see Act 26:18, see Salvation through Jesus Christ.
