God's authority is absolute. God made heaven and earth, has given commandments to mankind and has the final say over every aspect of our lives and eternity.

After reading through Exodus, I came across a verse where God explained why he did all those things in Egypt while delivering the Herbews/ children of Israel.
God Showing Authority by Making Provisions for Mankind
Gen_2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
God's Authority Through His Plan for Our Lives
Gen_2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
God Gives Commandments Regarding Our Lives
Gen_2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
God Has Complete and Total Authority
The authority of God is complete. Nobody has more authority of God. He owns heaven and earth and reigns over all. He gives life and the meaning of life. He commands us regarding every aspect of our life. He makes provisions for our sins. He has complete authority and power over our body, life, soul and our eternal destiny.
