Divided Homes

Divided homes are what workers and the friends of the workers call it when a 2x2 professing person is married to a non-professing person.

When I was a worker, we and the friends called homes where one spouse was professing and the other was not professing, divided homes. That's right, divided homes. I didn't know of a single home in my whole growing up years where a Christian person ever married a professing person. Let me say it again, I didn't know a single Christian who ever married a professing person. As a worker, we knew it was just a matter of time before a non-professing spouse would come to meetings and profess.

The non-Christian spouse will often eventually come to meetings and be lulled by the sweet-sounding, "nice" thoughts and profess.

I do know many 2x2s who married people who didn't profess and eventually got them to come to meetings and profess.

Divided Homes Are Hard

Anytime a 2x2 is married to a Christian, things are hard. 2x2's typically despise Christians and work against them. They are typically and eventually overtaken by the lusts of the flesh and the love of the world.

Christian Not to Marry Members of 2x2 Religion or Any Unbeliever

The word of God instructs us to not be yoked unequally / married to a member of the 2x2 religon.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

God Brought Me Out of 2x2 Religon

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good:

The Holy Spirit of God moved in my life. He caused me to believe in God the father, the word of God and his holy spirit in me. That's how I knew it was the Holy Spirit working in me. God drew me out of the 2x2 cult. God divided me from the unbelievers and put me into communion with believers. This is the undeniable work of God that always has been from the very beginning and always will be. There are no real Christians that God keeps in communion with cults. I have heard of one woman who was baptized by Jesus Christ and very soon thereafter left the cult. Her husband is still a 2x2 and she said they have a VERY strained marriage.

The 2x2 followers do not believe in the deity of Christ. They will say whatever others want them to say to get them to profess. They know that once the seducing spirit takes over the person, they will profess. Time is on their side to wear them out.

Let's read through what Paul wrote to the Corinthians and think about it a little. Or a lot. "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers." 2x2 Followers are not believers. They are followers of the 2x2 religion. They are followers of the workers. Faith in God produces works. As a worker, we didn't have good works of God in our lives. I didn't have them in my life as a 2x2 teenager either. My faith was dead. I was essentially an unbeliever. An unbeliever is not equal with a believer in many aspects. Unbelievers have different values. They do things to be seen of men and to satisfy their flesh. A believer does things to please God. There is a huge difference. Paul wrote about being yoked together. In marriage relationship there is a yoking together. It is against God's will for a believer to be yoked to an unbeliever.

If you are praying for God's will to be done in your life, now you know. God's will is that you would NOT BE yoked to a 2x2 follower. You don't even need to pray about it to find out. It's written in black and white in the Bible. It's God's WORD. The 2x2 religion is on several cult watch lists and its teachings and beliefs are heavily documented now.

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

It is the good work of God that the light is divided from darkness.

Paul writes "what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?" I remember when I was 18 years old and was reading the Bible and talking about the Bible with a previous high school classmate. I told a fellow 2x2 about the "fellowship" I was enjoying with this Christian class mate. I was rebuked by him and told in no uncertain terms that this was not fellowship. A 2x2 does not have fellowship with Christians I was told. We were trying to get this high school classmate to keep coming to meetings and profess. Even the 2x2s know that reading and talking about the Bible with a Christian is not fellowship. What fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? NONE. As a 2x2 worker, I engaged in unrighteous behavior. I taught lies in meetings that were taught to me. I led people to Satan with our version of the "gospel". I was unrighteous. What fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? NONE. As a worker, I taught people that they should not pray about natural things, just about spiritual things. Did you know that SATAN is very spiritual? Demons are very spiritual. There is a huge difference between being spiritual and Godly. What fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? NONE. 2x2s are excellent at having a form of godliness, but they have no righteousness of God. When they go to another country, they go to share "the truth". What truth? "The truth" we shared was about the 2x2 homeless, celibate ministry and meetings in the home. We didn't share Jesus Christ. In all my growing up years, I cannot remember ONCE when my parents or any of us as a family said "Praise the LORD", not once. I can remember many, many times when my folks talked about and praised the workers though. We were worshiping the workers, praising them and living in unrighteousness. It was idolatry.

Paul wrote "and what communion hath light with darkness?" Please ask yourself this question. What communion does light have with darkness? Go into a room with a flashlight. Now shut the door and turn out the light. Where is the light? No where. Now turn on the flashlight. The darkness goes away. Paul's question reminds me of a basic principle in Genesis.

Genesis 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

God has divided light from the darkness. Who am I to try to change this? Who are you to try to change this?

God has sent his son Jesus Christ to save us. Jesus died to free us from the bondage of sin. God has sent his Holy Spirit to convict us of sin and bring us to God through Jesus Christ. God has done so much to free us from sin and bring us into communion with fellow believers. It is the work of Satan to destroy believers and make them think they can have communion and be yoked to unbelievers. This is the work of Satan himself. Satan loves divided homes.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. - Jesus Christ speaking to Saul, see Act 26:18, see Salvation through Jesus Christ.
