Clyde Mackay's Letter to Ross Bowden on Questioning Workers

Dear Ross,

I have before me a letter that contains nothing edifying, but rather questioning the message that God gave me to share with His people. A letter that I would be more than ashamed to sign my name to. It has caused me to pray earnestly to God for you, because when the Pharisees spoke against the work that Jesus was doing and questioned His authority, He told them that it was a sin (sic) could not be forgiven. And while you think you may have done this to me, Jesus said forasmuch as ye have done it to one of these the least of my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Just as God said to the children of Israel, ye have not spoken against Moses, but you have spoken against me. I sincirely (sic) hope that you will be able to change your attitude and approach to those who have been willing to sacrifice all so that they might follow Jesus and obey His call. Unfortunately while you remain as you are I feel that God would not be able to accept your offering.

Yours sincerely,

Clyde MacKay.

End of Letter

As I said previously, 15 years on, it is wonderful to be free, free indeed to serve the true and living God.

Sincerely, Ross Bowden
