Hymns Old & New, Hymn #4 - O Lamb of God
Hymns Old & New - ymn 4 in the RL Allan and Son hymn book of the 2x2s is titled O Lamb of God.
2x2s Contradict Their Own Hymn #4
- The hymn refers to the "Lamb of God", yet 2x2s don't accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the spotless lamb of God as sufficient to atone for sins. You must believe instead that the workers are the only true servants of God. So on one hand they sing about the Lamb of God but during their preaching they emphasize themselves instead
- The hymn refers to the Lamb of God, but 2x2s believe their Jesus began when born of Mary. The Bible teaches that the Lamb was slain from the foundation of the world. So they contradict themselves when they refer to Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God
- Hymn 4 says "Despised, rejected and outcast, Thy name exalted is on high at last." But 2x2s don't believe in Jesus Christ as God, don't exalt Him in meetings and wouldn't be caught worshiping Jesus Christ. In fact, they consider the fact that Jesus Christ is God as heresy. Anyone teaching this is excommunicated. You can praise the workers in meetings but you cannot praise Jesus Christ.
- Hymn 4 says "seeking for those who will they name revere", but 2x2s don't revere Jesus Christ. They are seeking people who will revere the workers instead.
2x2s use hymn #4 "O Lamb of God" to teach some truth in the meetings, but then they go and teach something completely different in their sermons and in private.
