Margin Writings in a Worker's Bible

There is much evidence regarding cult activities: preaching, convention lists, workers lists, bible study lists and the lives of the friends of the workers.

Paul wrote:

2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Just as the early believers of Jesus Christ were evidence of the gospel of the apostles, so in the same way the "friends" are evidence and the manifestation of the cult teachings of the workers.

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Subtlety

The workers are used by the devil; and the devil is subtle. Most people cannot discern the subtle lies. You can learn what is taught and believed by 2x2's by the evidence of their writings in their Bibles. Many people don't know the Bible well enough to see the fault in what they say. Please read the quotes and examine the scripture to see the difference in their beliefs and what the Bible teaches. Sometimes their words can be very subtle. We need to depend on the Lord.

Discernment

If you cannot put into words yourself, what is wrong with these beliefs/quotes, you are very likely to just agree with them

The discovery of evidence

I was having Bible studies with my friend Phu Nguyen. He handed me a Bible to use, and I noticed it was a workers. So in 2007 I purchased (traded a couple new Bibles) for this used old Bible from Phu Nguyen that was formerly owned by Nathan Barker / Anngoc Ho Barker 1980 "Butch"

If you were a worker then you'd know there are some 2x2s families are VERY dysfunctional, abusive goes back for generations. These families NEED professional help to deal with their problems. The workers can't be of too much help because they are NOT professional trained.
- Nathan Barker Post display&thread=12298&page=2#240506 on TMB

My comment: God is able to fix anybody. Even people who are not workers know that generations of 2x2s are not renewed by Jesus Christ. I also believe workers cannot help others because they have not received help of God and don't have the power of God in their life. You don't have to be "professionally trained" to help others.

2Co 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

"Even though God forgave her past. However Rahab has to pay for her sin in this life until she receive the New Body and Spirit"
- Nathan Barker, page 312 in NT

My comment: Nobody can pay for their sin. Only the blood of Christ can reconcile us to God. Who is greater than God to say that the forgiveness of God is not complete enough?

Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Psa 103:10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

"Don't idolize the servant of God too highly.-" Nathan Barker , front of Bible

My comment: God said to never idolize anyone. He is a jealous God. He commanded us not to idolize. What Nathan wrote is like saying, "Don't commit adultery too much". Or "Don't murder too many people." It also betrays the fact that they want the workers to be worshiped.

Exo 20:3+ Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

"Don't talk too much. You're keep putting your foot in your mouth. Be sensible turn off the flow! * When a good men speaks, he is worth to listen, but the words of a fools are a dime a dozen *Self control means controlling the tounge."
- Nathan Barker, page 312 in NT

Jas 3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Pro 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Joh 1:12+ But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

It is only through God that the heart can be changed. When the heart is changed, then what is spoken is of God. We cannot control our tongue through self will.

"Don't praise yourself let Gods do it"
- Nathan Barker, page 313 in NT

My comment: God isn't going to bless a cult. That's why the workers have to remind their followers of their "sacrifice".

"The Law of Commandments are negative but JC is love."
- Nathan Barker, page 66 , outer margin in NT

My comment: The Law is Holy and good. The Psalmists praise it. Jesus fulfilled the law.

Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

"It takes a dying ministry to create a living church"
- Nathan Barker, page 66, inside margin in NT

My comment: He refers to workers here, not ministers as Christians may think when they read this. It takes a resurrected Savior to have a living church, not a dying ministry. 2x2s are obssessed with death. We need to focus on living for Christ. This shows their focus on the workers and not on the Lord.

Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

"If we speak against those we pray for it will hinder our prayer."
- Nathan Barker, inside margin, page 68 in NT

Luk 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Jesus spoke against people he loved.

"He had taken teaching as far as teaching could possibly go; there must now be the act of faith. If it did not work, then he was wrong and had always been wrong. If it did work, he was right and always had been right."
- Nathan Barker about Jesus crucification page 78 at end of Gospel of Mark in NT.

Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Jesus always acted in faith. Jesus continued to teach after he was crucified and resurrected. God continues us to teach.

"Jesus was betting his life that he was right, This was something that he had(crossed out)wanted to do and there was no better way."
- Nathan Barker about Jesus crucifiction page 78 at end of Gospel of Mark in NT.

Joh 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

The devil tries to get us to doubt what is proven. You only believe what they say afterwards if you fall for the doubt. Jesus did not gamble on anything. He is God and wasn't betting on anything.

Mat 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

"When God brought his Son into the world....He didn't advertize."
- Nathan Barker about Jesus birth, page 81 in NT

Nathan Barker must not have read his Bible. There was a multitude of the heavenly host praising God when Jesus came into the world.

Luk 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. - Jesus Christ speaking to Saul, see Act 26:18, see Salvation through Jesus Christ.
