Duncan Hunter, Former Owner of Boring Convention Grounds
Duncan Hunter, 89 died Sun., March 15, 2015, in Vancouver, WA of Parkinson's disease.
He was born in Shieldhill, Scotland on June 16, 1925.
Mr. Hunter came to the United States in 1949 and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He married Irene Jacobsen in 1954.
The family lived in Boring, OR for 34 years and Vancouver, WA for 23 years.
His joy was serving the living God, according to His living word, taught by a ministry living and preaching the same as Jesus established.
Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife, Irene; and his children, Charlene and David. The family would like to extend special thanks to Salmon Creek Best Senior Care. A funeral service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Mon., March 23, 2015 at the Abernethy Center, 606 15th St., Oregon City, OR followed by graveside committal at 3:30 p.m. at the Sandy Ridge Pioneer Cemetery
