Matthew 28:16, The Great Commission
Jesus Christ sends the disciples to the Gentiles
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." Amen.
If you're looking for how Jesus Christ sent the disciples to the Jews, then see Matthew 10. Jesus commanded his disciples to teach all nations all things that he had commanded them. So that's a big clue if someone is a disciple of Christ. I love the comfort of Jesus confirming that he would be with us until the end of the world. There's a lot of things going on and the return of Christ is nearing.
There are a lot of teachings of Jesus Christ that I learned after leaving the meetings. There were even more when I became born again. For example, I didn't understand the laying on of hands, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, prayer and healing for the sick and other things. Jesus wanted everything taught that he had commanded them. And there are a lot of things to learn.
