2x2 Gospel

The 2x2 "GOSPEL"/MESSSAGE/PREACHING is that you need to:

  • believe that the WORKERS are the only true servants of Jesus Christ and all others are hirelings that are going to hell
  • believe the WORKERS speak the Word of God
  • believe in the MEETINGS IN THE HOME and the WORKERS without a home.
  • agree with every decision the OVERSEERS and WORKERS make
  • come to MEETINGS
  • PROFESS in a TESTED MEETING.

Repent - Preaching of John the Baptist

Compare the 2x2 GOSPEL to the preaching of John the Baptist who preached the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. The WORKERS don't believe in this gospel. They substitute PROFESSING (standing in a TESTED MEETING) instead of baptism. And later when a person has PROVED THEMSELVES, they don't require repentance of sins at their baptisms (and baptisms by a Christian are deemed unacceptable). The WORKERS "message" is nothing like the preaching of John the Baptist.

Repent - Gospel of Jesus Christ

Compare the 2x2 "GOSPEL" with the gospel of Jesus Christ preached by the apostles. Repentance is inherent in the Word of God, but the 2x2s reject repentance and reject the teaching of sin.

Mat_3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat_4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mar_1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mar_6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
Act_2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act_3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Act_8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
Act_26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. - Jesus Christ speaking to Saul, see Act 26:18, see Salvation through Jesus Christ.
